This City Council election will be a very very interesting one due to the fact there are 31 people vying for only 9 available seats. From my independent observations, the pickings look awfully slim. Is there anyone on this list with the black agenda in mind? Is there anyone on this list who will actually stand up and speak up for the black community as a whole? Is there anyone on this list who will fight hard and speak up on the floor of council not just on black talk radio about ensuring the black community will get its fair share of economic inclusion? I'm speaking of only "Black People", why, you might ask? Because I am a Black Woman and my main focus is the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for "my people"..Black People. And here on The Black Fist blog, you should know by now that is what we deal with.
These are the candidates who filed for Cincinnati City Council. Terms are 2 years. The 9 people who get the most votes will win 9 seats on Council. The rest of the people can go home and wait for 2007.

Once again, As Head of Telecommunications for The Black Militant Organization "The Black Fist", I want to state for the record what used to be stated by "ALL" members of our organization on ALL radio, TV and newspapers until arrogance, ego and falsehood "interjected, rose up and reared it's ugly head".
In the year 2000, there was a "boycott" of downtown restaurants called by some Black activist AFTER downtown restaurants "boycotted" Black people during the so-called "Jazz Festival" weekend by closing their doors to Black people. I suppose in their (white) view we (blacks) weren't good enough to sit our black bodies in their "fine dining" establishments. Although Black people "were" good enough to spend "black dollars" at the so-called "Jazz Festival" located also in downtown Cincinnati.
In the year 2001, The Economic Boycott and Sanctions on Travel and Tourism was called by the following Organizations: "The Coalition For A Just Cincinnati", Lead by: Pastor Dr. J.W. Jones (Peace be Upon him) and "The Black United Front", Lead by: Pastor Damon Lynch III, who is now running for Cincinnati City Council.
And The Economic Boycott & Sanction on Travel and Tourism continues today....We say, "No Justice No Profit", Keep your Money in your Pocket!
What needs to be cleared up today in August 2005, is this:
No member of "The Black Fist" organization WAS, IS or HAS EVER BEEN a Boycott "Leader". We have ALWAYS stated on TV, on all radio stations and in all newspapers, "We, in The Black Fist are STAUNCH SUPPORTERS" of the economic boycott and sanctions on travel and tourism. "NOT THE LEADERS".
And EVERY member of The Black Fist agreed UPON ONE ACCORD that, that would be the statement given throughout this movement. We, The members of The Black Fist have engaged in some "hard-core guerilla protesting" on behalf of The Boycott, called for some of the most "controversial marches and protests" on behalf of The Boycott and (even to this day) are "The most outspoken Black activist organization" to voice the concerns on behalf of all black people when it involves "Injustice", "Racism", "Police Brutality" and "The Boycott" at Cincinnati City Council Meetings.
Period. It's just that simple.
And contrary to what's being "expoused" by (1) member of this organization on various media outlets today..."That is the TRUTH".
I would be remiss as "Head of Telecommunications" NOT to have "communicated" that with the readers of "The Black Fist Blog" and I will continue to "set the record straight" on TV, on various radio stations and in newpapers whenever and wherever "arrogance, ego & falsehood" rears it's ugly head..
That's what I define as, "Untwisting The Twisted"....Once Again.
I have no desire to "RE-WRITE BOYCOTT OR BLACK FIST ORGANIZATIONAL HISTORY".
My only desire is for "TRUTH".
No matter how many times I must tell it!
Thank You (once again) for reading "The Black Fist" Blog.

This is what "honest", "upfront", "accessible to the people" type of politics will do for you!
State Senator Mark L. Mallory is now one (1) of the two (2) Mayoral candidates to make it out of the primary race.
He will now face off against "THE SON OF P&G". (as fellow activist Nate Livingston Jr. calls him)
Bottom Line: MARK, YOU MADE IT HAPPEN!!!!!
More on Mayoral "Contender" State Senator Mark L. Mallory....
But until then....
MALLORY'S THE MAN!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO "GENERAL NIKKI X/BLACK FIST ENDORSED" SOON-TO-BE MAYOR OF CINCINNATI MARK L. MALLORY"!!!!!
BLACK FIST, BLACK POWER, BLACK NATION!!!
"REECE KNOCKED OUT IN 1ST ROUND"!!!
Well folks, the votes are in and the ballots have been counted and it's official... Councilwoman turned "figure-head" Vice-mayor Alicia Reece "The Fighter" has been officially "KNOCKED OUT" in the 1st round!!! She has been sent "BLOODIED & BRUISED" stumbling while trying to catch her breath, totally "PUNCH-DRUNK", "DAZED & CONFUSED" packing from City Hall and is now able to crash at one of her "various" homes.
Whether it be in one of those little itty bitty apartments at Intergity Hall in Bond Hill OR The big luxury house with the rolling green lawn in "GREEN TOWNSHIP" at this point it really doesn't matter!
Like one of my favorite singers Ms. Gladys Knight would sing right about now....
Alicia, General Nikki X wants to be the first to say...
BLACK FIST, BLACK POWER, BLACK NATION......
As I sat watching Ch.12 Newsmakers with Dan Hurley on this past Sunday morning, I couldn't help but to laugh out loud at 2 of the Mayoral candidates who were invited to be on the show.
The candidates were as followed: Councilman David Pepper, Councilwoman Alicia Reece, Charlie Winburn and State Senator Mark Mallory.
Whenever the show's host Dan Hurley would ask a question of Charlie Winburn and Mark Mallory, they would answer the question with sincerity and clarity. They just answered the damn questions! But whenever the host would ask a question of David Pepper or Alicia Reece it was straight up comedy/Pitifully embarrassing!
City Councilman & Chairman of The Law and Public Safety Committee David Pepper was defensive, arrogant, egotistical, reeked of white priviledge and flat out unprofesional in all of his responses. But I was not surprised one bit seeing as though I have seen this up close and personal at city council meetings and Pepper's (suppose-to-be) Law & Public Safety meetings where he does nothing more than "PANDER & PACIFY" the top brass of the Cincinnati police, a.k.a. Chief Striecher, Lt. Col. Richard Janke, FOP President Harry Roberts and FOP vice-president Keith Fatman...oops., pardon me I meant Fangman.
City Councilwoman turned "appointed figure-head" vice-mayor Alicia Reece was straight ghetto. Period.
She had the head going back and forth like she shouldn't even be questioned on ANYTHING AT ALL. She "tried" to re-invented herself as someone who is fighting for everyone when in fact she is only fighting for herself, her daddy, their little "bitnezz" and thier own personal interest.
Reece sucked her teeth, rolled her eyes and acted as if she couldn't understand the concept of "your time is limited to speak, Ms. Reece"" or "your time is UP, Ms. Reece"!
She just kept on talking like she was chilling back at Intergity Hall instead of on a Television broadcast.
Reece should understand a "time limit" concept seeing as though whenever Lame Duck Mayor Charlie Luken is missing in action or "gone fishing", Reece has the opportunity to sit in "the big chair" and preside over that weak ass council down there and whenever an activist comes up to the podium to speak and that 2 minute buzzer goes off she'll bang that gavel repeatedly and act a fool, (once again) rolling her eyes and yelling until she gets the person (always BLACK) thrown out either by the officer stationed in council or the Cincinnati police, who are always laying in wait like the devils that they are.
Ready to bust one of our heads for less than nothing at all..while she looks on with her trademark sneaky lil smirk on her face really feeling her (only for that moment) power.
Alicia Reece should understand when someone tells her to "shut the hell up, your time is up"!
She sure knows how to "shut up" her critics...remember the "Got Milk" commercials?
Reece's TV commercials should've been..."Got Fire"!!!
She performed that same act over at The Urban League/WCVG mayoral forum about 2 weeks ago. Loud talking and OVERtalking the forums' host, Tracie Hunter host of "Tracie Live" on 1320am WCVG. Reece told Tracie "repeatedly" she needed more time to answer "her" questions and when Tracie told Reece (repeatedly) she would have to "wrap it up", Reece told Tracie Hunter to "just calm down", she said that over & over again then laughed like a hyena.
What was so freakin' funny about being rude and insulting to the host of a forum you're invited to partake in?
Reece and her loud ass supporters have been outta control at these forums.
Councilwoman Reece really had a nasty attitude and didn't mine letting everyone see it at that forum and hear it over the air as that forum was being broadcasted live on the radio.
Reece has no class nor does she have simple common manners.
"David Pepper and Alicia Reece are NOT fit to lead this city"!
Winburn and Mallory, in my opinion "won" that particular debate. And that's what we needed to see more of during these last couple of weeks...All Mayoral Candidate debating E-A-C-H O-T-H-E-R!!! I would've loved to see Sis. Sandra Queen Noble take 'em all on!!! Now that would've been "COMEDY" at its best!!! Wouldn't you agree?
TODAYS THE DAY SO GET OUT AND VOTE FOR ONLY (1) MAYORAL CANDIDATE. YOU HAVE UNTIL 7:00PM IN THE CITY OF CINCINNATI!!!
BLACK POWER, EVERY HOUR!!!
Sunday, September 11, 2005
The answer to that question is a simple: "HELL NO"!
I am so tired of Councilwoman turned appointed "figure-head" Vice-Mayor Alicia Reece getting on black talk radio, during various Mayoral debates and in print news bemoaning the fact that she is currently the "Vice-mayor" so that [basically] "Entitles" her to the mayorship.
Now correct me if I'm wrong but The City of Cincinnati is not a "privately owned company" nor is it some sort of pass-me-down type of "family bitnezz", sort of like Intergity Hall.
So "NO" Alicia, being vice-mayor DOES NOT entitle you to become mayor.
So for Alicia to constantly moan, cry and complain about the fact that maybe just maybe somebody out there in Cincinnati-land just might
question and/or ask her to produce some "real" results for the first "5 1/2 years" she's been on council...she tries to divert the black community from her sorry voting record by whinning every chance she gets about how she's being asked to work just as hard as the other contenders for mayor, all the while projecting the image she should just be given the position of mayor.
Is this woman for real?
Let's take a little walk down memory lane shall we....
I'm sure all of you remember the first 2 years she tricked us all out of our votes. (Yes, even I was tricked in 1999) Where Ms. Reece rode right in the front doors of City Hall on the unjustifiably murdered by The Cincinnati police dead black back of Bro. Mi
My mother always told me, "Nikki if you can't say anything nice about a person, don't say anything at all".
My mother is one of the smartest black women I know.
So in that same tone and spirit, the only response I will share with the public regarding the departure of City Manager Valerie A. Lemmie is this....

Mayoral Candidate Mark L. Mallory honored to have personally received "The Black Fist Endorsement" from General Nikki X.
Let the games begin...
On Tuesday September 13, 2005. The mayoral primary is in full effect. So cast your vote for only one (1) mayoral candidate. Because if you vote for more than one (1) your ballot will be CAST OUT!
General Nikki X and The Black Fist Endorse the following Candidate for Mayor: "STATE SENATOR MARK L. MALLORY"
Congratulations Senator Mallory on receiving "The Black Fist Endorsement" for Mayor of The City of Cincinnati!
And Good Luck on September 13, 2005!
We feel Mark L. Mallory is the best choice for Mayor of The City of Cincinnati because he has "never" been on city council and can NOT be held responsible for the "mismanagement of tax dollars" nor can he be held responsible for all of the "anti-black/anti-poor" votes that as a result has caused alot of the CRIME we see taking place in this city today. The other two (2) mayoral candidates (who are currently on council) are talking "crime, crime, crime" but are NOT taking personal accountability for the votes they cast which in turn has caused this city to become crime ridden. Those two (2) don't want to even acknowledge how Cincinnati has gotten to the place it is "under their watch". Mr. Mallory can see from the "outside looking in" that the only way "a change is gonna come" is from someone with the conviction to stand up to big business, stand up to The Cincinnati Police Dept. (when and if they are wrong) and fight for Black citizens to become economically stable by creating the jobs in the neighborhoods that are so desperately needed. That will create stability in the black community which will in turn stop the out of control crime problem.
A Mayor that stands up for the poor + Decent paying Jobs = Less Crime in the Neighborhoods
Mr. Mallory gets The Black Fist "Stamp of Approval". And we hope he gets your vote on September 13, 2005.
Get out and vote Mark L. Mallory for Mayor!
Addendum (Sept.11,'05 @ 1:45pm): 1. State Senator Mark L. Mallory was endorsed for Mayor by General Nikki X and The Black Fist on Friday September 9, 2005.
2. State Senator Mark L. Mallory was endorsed for Mayor by The Cincinnati Enquirer on Sunday September 11, 2005.
"Do ya' think the folks over at The Cincinnati Enquirer are reading The Black Fist Blog and are "finally" listening to The Black Community, General Nikki X and The Black Fist"?
You be the judge...

As I watched all of my beautiful Black brothas & sistas in New Orleans suffering from homelessness, hunger, thirst and scratching just to hold on to life itself after that devastating hurricane, the whiteman has given the name "Katrina".
I am happy to report "Relief is on the Way"!
New Prospect Baptist Church, Corinthian Baptist Church, WDBZ "The Buzz of Cincinnati" 1230am, WCVG "The Gospel"1320am, WCIN "The station you grew up with" 1480am, Junebug's Bar-B-Que & Steakhouse on the corner of Findlay & Linn St. and a whole host of Community Activist from Civil Rights- Humanitian- Moderate & Black Militants have come together to raise money, give of their time, collect food, clothing and personal hygiene items!
We all came together on one accord because at times like these THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS is SAVING THE PRECIOUS LIVES OF BLACK MEN, BLACK WOMEN & BLACK CHILDREN!
General Nikki X & General Shannon X Mugabe of The Black Fist along with The Black United Front, The Concern Citizens For Justice, The New Black Panther Nation, The Nation of Islam and other Local organizations worked collectively to "Get The Job Done"!
More Help is definitely needed and More Prayers are definitely welcomed!
General Nikki X & General Shannon X Mugabe are proud to have been a part of something so positive and something so spiritually life-affirming. Seeing human suffering up close and personal here on the mean streets of Cincinnati everyday along with combining our efforts with those of other organizations to help our Black brothas & sistas down south, only "renew" our "commitment" to devoting our lives to "The Salvation and Liberation of The Black Nation"!
(The above was a combined statement from General Nikki X & General Shannon X Mugabe of "The Black Fist".)
Those Black People need HELP and NOT the lip-service The United States Government is currently given them. George W. Bush is a National disgrace! Not that I thought he'd do anything different than he's been doing for our Black people which is...Absolutely Nothing!
So we need not waste anymore valuable time on that loser.
Let's all ban together and complete the job of contributing any and every resource we can possibly donate to: "The VICTIMS of Hurricane Katrina"!
Who the Hell are you, Whiteman, to call these people... "REFUGEES"?.....
THIS DEVIL JUST WON'T QUIT!
