FORMER CINCINNATI CITY COUNCILMAN FOUND NOT GUILTY!
Former Cincinnati City Councilman Sam Malone (R) found himself in a Hamilton County Courtroom this week awaiting a verdict on the charges of domestic violence against his 14-year old son back in May 2005. See this: http://theblackfistblog.blogspot.com/2006/01/former-cincinnati-city-councilman-sam.html
The verdict came back not guilty! And I for one think that is the only verdict that should've come back. Sam Malone should've never been on trial in the first place. He did what any good responsible loving father should've done when his child disobeyed him or any other adult, he grabbed a belt and whooped his tail!
Now you can read about what went down in the link provided above. What I want to talk about in this entry is the Judge in this case, a judge by the name of "Mocking" Russell Mock. Now from what I've read in the newspaper and from what I've seen on television, it seems to me that Judge Mock thought Mr. Malone should've been found guilty. His comment from on high (that's the bench, of course) seems to suggest a bit a white supremacy, an air of authority beyond the boundaries of the court bench, a personal opinionated bias and a mocking tone of voice that was, in my opinion, highly unprofessional and quite condesending.
This white man from on high, "Mocking" Judge Mock said something that went like: I have to go along with this verdict although I don't agree with it and the next time you, Mr. Malone should re-think your use of the belt in disciplining your son. That was not word for word but you get the jest of what he was trying to convey. Allow me to break it down for you: "The white man felt he had the white authority to tell the black man, the original man what to do!"
I really think some of these white judges that sit down there on these benches in these Hamilton County courtrooms think have been ordained for that position by God. I really beleive Jugde Mock was totally out of order "lecturing" Sam Malone like he was some kind of child and the big white father (him) MUST re-direct his big bad black behavior. In the words of our dear brother Nate Livingston over at The Cincinnati Black Blog "Who gives a fuck about what Judge Mock thinks!"
I'm happy Sam Malone was found not guilty, I'm happy he may be reuniting with his boy and able to finish raising this young man to be a productive strong black man and I'm happy all of this judicial crap is over and done with. Now the question becomes: Will Sam be able to overcome the court of public opinion? Will he attempt to run again for City Council as a republican after the republican triple-crossed the brother? And will his son learn a lesson in obedience and respect for his elders? And does this young boy truly understand 421-KIDS is not a game to be played with? Meaning that once these people get in your business (especially if you are black) it's hard to get them out of your business! I've heard horror stories about 421-KIDS that I won't get into today and I'm sure for every 1 or 2 horror stories, there's 11 or 12 good stories of children being rescued from abuse and neglect through that organization. I want to be fair. But looking at this through the black perpective as we do here on The Black Fist Blog I've got to keep it real and say this organization needs to be monitored more closely and black families need to do there best to keep them out of your business and Lawd have mercy out of your homes! Black children are not white children, we (black parents) have a history of taking the rod to a little black behind and warming it up as needed. White parents allow their children to take the rod to them and that's why you get your school shooting, drugs, illegal phony money being printed right under your noses in your big fancy houses, your little white girls "chatting" it up in these internet chat room meeting lecherious pedophiles and serial killers. Whites turn their children over to others for disciplinary actions where as Black families deal with our little hard-heads in the crib at the home and with the belt!
Just as Sam Malone did with his son. Congratulations Sam and good Luck to you and your family!
And that's (pardon the pun) The Bottom Line!
