General Nikki, thanks for making me truly hungry after filling up at both the church breakfast and with coming together at church. You could smell the menu. The Peebles Corner, when I was a kid I would call it Peoples' Corner, cause when you'd park over in the little Kroger area and go into Will's and browse or grab a bite of something with your Mom or Dad, People Spoke to each other sociably. Not sayin there weren't some lecherous reprobates hangin out, but the overall look was people took time to say hi. Thanks for getting me to think farther than the menu....Lena

Please do yourself a favor and read those previous entries they may give you some insight and clear up some things for you. There's nothing wrong with you "respecting" Oba but Howard "an assassin" please! You are so uninformed.
How many times do I have to yell it from the rooftops....
KABAKA'S DEATH HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH ACTIVISM, POLICE BRUTALITY, THE KLU KLUX KLAN, THE BOYCOTT OR "THE JAZZ FESTIVAL!"
But everything to do with Joy Rolland and his own psychopathic terrorist behavior!
I'm sorry if he lied to you but realisticly what else could he do but run around saying to people "Junebug don't like me because I'm for the boycott."
His appearances on radio, TV and internet told the true nature of the beast so to speak. He was a community terrorist with a bipolar sidekick and his actions along with her instigating got him killed in self-defense. And if it is true that you in fact spoke to him about that horrific degrading word "COON" then how could you possibly say to me today that you "respect him"? He never stopped using that word AGAINST his own people. He probably died with it poised on his lips.
I knew him better than his own family. General Nikki X knew HIM.

A very close friend and comforting force in my life said something similiar in nature to me shortly after Kabaka's death.
