I can't believe Thomas let Smitherman draw him into this kind of cat fight.First of all, if Smitherman was sincere -- which he isn't -- he'd simply walk over to Thomas' desk and discuss the problem.Smitherman is a psychopath. He can't conduct business in a civil manner which is why he was booted from the Council before. Instead, he employs his thugs in letter writing campaigns, bullying, etc. He's a dangerous man who can't be trusted with power and thus should never be given any.
