"SLIM PICKINGS" This City Council election will be a very very interesting one due to the fact there are 31 people vying for only 9 available seats. From my independent observations, the pickings look awfully slim. Is there anyone on this list with the black agenda in mind? Is there anyone on this list who will actually stand up and speak up for the black community as a whole? Is there anyone on this list who will fight hard and speak up on the floor of council not just on black talk radio about ensuring the black community will get its fair share of economic inclusion? I'm speaking of only "Black People", why, you might ask? Because I am a Black Woman and my main focus is the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for "my people"..Black People. And here on The Black Fist blog, you should know by now that is what we deal with. These are the candidates who filed for Cincinnati City Council. Terms are 2 years. The 9 people who get the most votes will win 9 seats on Council. The rest of the people can go home and wait for 2007. THE IMCUMBENTS: 1. Y. LaKeta Cole 2. Sam Malone 3. Christopher Smitherman 4. John Cranley 5. David Crowley 6. Jim Tarbell 7. Chris Monzel THE CHALLENGERS: 1. Bill Barron 2. Antonio Hodge 3. Damon Lynch III 4. Paul McGhee 5. Curtis Wells 6. Cecil Thomas 7. Eric Wilson 8. Ishaq Nadir 9. Wendell Young 10. Victor Phillips 11. Bennie Green 12. Jeff Berding 13. Eve Bolton 14. Chris Bortz 15. John Eby 16. Leslie Ghiz 17. Samantha Herd 18. William S. Matthews 19. Gerry Kraus 20. Michael Earl Patton 21. Nick Spencer 22. Robert Wilson 23.Ronnie Stallworth 24.Robert J. Wilking 31 people, 9 seats. Whose it gonna be, Black folks? Which 9 out of these 31 people running will be in the best interest of The Black Community? It's up to The Black Community to decide how our interest will be served. Don't sleep on this election on November 8, 2005. Look for The Black Fist/General Nikki X's Cincinnati City Council Endorsement List...Coming Soon! |

What about the General being arrested over the weekend and being charged with aggravated menacing? Joy Rolland posted his $10,000.00 bond the same day. What's up with that? Do you have any idea why they would put it in the name of Michael Bailey, according to the Deans site I just read? Does he use alias?
Well golly, which ones are black? Could I assume its the first names on the list?
Come on folks, lets be inclusive, not exclusive. To vote for someone simply because of their race ( and thus not vote for one because of their race) is itself racist.
Look at the issues and vote your conscience. Who will make the city core safer? Who will bring economic development to the city? Those are the issues, not skin color.
I was listening to Tracy Hunter today and was "confused" about there being two bla(?) Fist. Are there two groups, or one group with two different spellings?
There have not been any posts by you General Nikki X in a while!!! Hope you will post again soon.
Is your real name Joy Rolland?
just wondered because that was the name of the person who posted bond for General Kabaka.
Take care!
No. I am not "Joy Rolland" who posted bond to get Kabaka out of jail.
Am I who I say I am.
"GENERAL NIKKI X"
Thank you for reading "The Black Fist Blog".
I'll be at the Forum for the council race. I just want to comment on the fulls that keep on trying to start that bullshit between the black fist.
That will not work and I will make sure it will not cause any confusion between the participant in the struggle for just in this wicked City.
You dirty white people are still stuck on that " Willie linch " type of behaviour....We are in 2005 and we will defend our honor unto the end that is why we are still promoting the Boycott.
We as black men and women see everything you do and don't think we are not going to do anything about it. you have people like me who will whip your ass and you won't know until it's gone.
Take that to the bank!!
