Son of O'Jays Lead Singer Reportedly Found Dead

Sean LeVert, son of O'jays lead singer Eddie LeVert, was found dead in a Cleveland, Ohio, jail over the weekend, sources said.

Sean LeVert 39, was being held for allegedly failing to pay $80,000 in child support. The cause of death was not immediately known.

Sean LeVert was a member of the R&B group LeVert with his late brother Gerald LeVert and Marc Gordon. Gerald LeVert died Nov 10, 2006 at age of 40.

Sean LeVert had recently completed an album Gordon, sources said.

Sean LeVert appeared in the movies "Dope Case Pending" (2000) and "New Jack City" (1991).

Though the killing in Iraq has slowed, the U.S. government is steadily pumping more and more money into the war, with $ 12 Billion per month in taxpayer money given to support the war in 2008, the war's sixth year.

Nobel Prize winning economist Joesph E. Stiglitz estimates that cost of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan combined could reach nearly $3 Trillion by the year 2017. Interest on money borrowed to pay for the wars could total $816 Billion.

Meanwhile, while no one has calculated the economic cost to Iraq in the war, this cost Millions of Iraqis there jobs, and hundreds of thousands of middle-class professionals and managers are now refugees in other countries.

COLERAIN TWP: A 38 year-old Warren County man is in jail today after being accused of stealing 250 gallons of diesel fuel last week.

Hamilton County court records say that Jeffery I. Reynolds of Birchgrove Court was seen on a security video taking from Welsh Excavating Company on Forfeit Road in Colerain Township.

Reynolds is being held in jail on a $10,000 bond.

Court records say the value of the fuel exceeded $1,000.

It is very important for black Cincinnati to know just who the 21 Superdelegates in Ohio are and for those blacks living across the way to know who Kentucky's 9 superdelegates are.

Provided to you today is a list of Ohio's 21 Superdelegates & Kentucky's 9 Superdelegates before the next primary in Pennsylvania being held on April 22nd and Kentucky's own primary held on May 20th . I will also provide the 2008 Primary Election Calendar to keep you in the know about what, when, and where.

After all, Knowledge is Power.

It is my understanding that the superdelegates should stay uncommitted, but many superdelegates have broken away from this process. Some think this has created a big problem.

It is very important for everyone to know who the superdelegates are in Ohio & Kentucky, so the option can remain open for YOU The Voter to contact these various bigwigs in authority and let your voices be heard. Also, let these people know your feelings and how you would like them to cast their superdelegate votes.

Or...Does this look like a modern day hollywood movie poster of "King Kong"?


Why in the sam hill would NBA Star LeBron James agree to pose for the April 2008 edition of Vogue magazine, being only the 3rd man to ever do so & the FIRST BLACK MAN ever to do so, agree to looking like a hunched over growling gorilla holding the (so-called) damsel-in-distress (while grinning) white woman?

Three Questions swirling in my mind:

1. Why would LeBron even pose in this manner knowing the white man perceives the black man as an crazy ape, monkey, gorilla...in essence a THREAT to him?

2. Why would the "handlers" closest to LeBron James (if he didn't have enough common sense of his own) agree to the FIRST BLACK MAN EVER on the cover of one of the whitest magazines on the planet striking this particular pose? And why wouldn't these "handlers" not tell him, "We don't think you looking like a growling gorilla holding the proverbial in-need-of-assistance white woman on the white man's magazine is an appropriate image for you to send out to the already racist white world?"

3. Where in the world is this man's mama?

Nothing against brother LeBron but with all the money this man is making due to his talents on the basketball court why in the name of Jesus did he allow himself to be demeaned with this pose that quite clearly resembles the pose of KING KONG holding the white woman?

This picture is totally unacceptable!
And quite frankly FUCKED UP!!!

Basically, he said I "absolved LeBron James of any responsibility" on how he viewed himself on the cover of Vogue Magazine then went on to ask the question, "What does Lebron James think of posing on the cover in this manner"? I thought of this question myself AFTER the publishing of this entry however, I did not go back to include it. My additional response to my entry & the raising of this question was as follows: "LeBron James with a nice suit, tie and some Stacy Adams holding his basketball would've been more DIGNIFIED than his "King Kong holding the White Woman pose".

Now there is rumblings from the 3 big cable networks that Sen. Obama has won the Texas Caucus which translate into him also taking the state of Texas(?) Is this true?
