16 Black Families In Ohio Find Bibles With Racist Langauge At Their Homes

David Jones Jr. said he was excited to see a new Bible sitting on his front porch Monday morning. Then he looked inside and found what he describes as a “racial slur toward blacks,” written on the inside cover.

A total of 16 black residents along North Mulberry and Springmill Streets and Vale Avenue received the marred Bibles on Sunday, according to the Mansfield Police Department.

“At first I said good, because I can use another Bible, but when I opened it to see who it came from it just had a nasty statement in there,” Jones said. “I thought someone was saying it to me, but then I saw it on other porches, so I called police.”

A few doors down, Lillian Webb had the same initial reaction.

“I thought someone was trying to be funny, saying I need to read the Bible,” Webb said. “After I read (the slur), I thought, who would write that in a Bible?”


Across the street, the Friendly House received three Bibles, director Terry Conard said. Bibles also showed up at two vacant houses on either side of Webb.

Nine of the King James Holy Bibles were recovered Monday morning after Jones called in the complaint. Six more were found by police canvassing the area Wednesday. The same slur was “neatly” written in neon colors, according to victims.

Police are classifying the act as ethnic intimidation, meaning the racial slur was meant to threaten and intimidate residents, Capt. Ken Coontz said. Those responsible could face menacing charges, a fourth-degree misdemeanor. If tied to ethnic motivations, the charge could increase the offense to a third-degree misdemeanor, or up to 60 days in jail, he said.


The police are still searching for any clues that might help them find the person(s) responsible. We suppose this is better than a burning cross on your lawn, but it still has to be a little unsettling that this type of racism is still alive and kickin’ in 2013.

Outgoing Cincinnati Police Department Chief James E. Craig is a fake and a fraud. He's a bum who brought LAPD-style corruption to CPD. He got away with it because he learned Hollywood-style acting and public relations while out in LA, and the Cincinnati media is lazy and incompetent. (We're talking about the white and black media; mainstream and alternative media; traditional and new media.)



Here are our Top 10 facts about Craig that you may have forgotten or never known.

1. Craig "showed out" for the white man. He got into a nasty fight with our sister Cassandra Robinson of the Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion. Craig forced Ms. Robinson to cut the event back to one day, then told thousands of DNegroes to GET OUTTA TOWN BEFORE SUNDOWN. Why? Because white people wanted to watch a movie on Fountain Square and attend a sporting event and they didn't want to be bothered with your Black asses. Craig was happy to use his power as police chief to do whatever he could to make the white man, woman and child happy.


2. Craig bought new costumes for the cops. (This has nothing to do with reducing crime, but don't they look real nice?) In the last year, Craig's policies have led to an INCREASE in gun shootings. (Lord, please help the good people of Detroit!)


3. Craig went to Church, met with Black preachers, and passed out money to some Black people. Big damn deal.


4. Craig bought lots and lots of LaRosa's buddy passes and Girl Scout cookies. That may make Craig a swell guy, but it has absolutely no bearing on his failure to reduce crime. Can one of you Craig cheerleaders point to one of his initiatives that worked? Do you have any evidence...any proof...anything beside rhetoric and emotions? The Cincinnati Black Blog believes making kids smile is a great thing, but that's not how we evaluate a police chief.

5. When Orlando Smith -- a crazy fool working for the CPD -- shot and killed our good brother Dontez O'Neal in Avondale, numerous witnesses said Dontez was surrendering. Using that Hollywood training, Craig crafted a different story. He made believe Dontez shot at Orlando and Orlando was returning fire. The entire incident was captured on audio and videotape. But Craig and his boys in the CPD made the portion of the video that would've proved the truth magically disappear. Craig said it was some sort of temporary malfunction in the recording system. But the only missing portion is the part where Dontez said something like "PLEASE DON'T SHOOT I'M SURRENDERING," right before Orlando executed him.


6. When La Salle High School student Justin Brown conspired with 3 adult white males (David Corso, Derek McKinley, and Tony Wuestefeld) to rob our good young brother Dierres Lee (and possibly shoot and kill him) and Dierres was forced to STAND HIS GROUND and shoot Justin in the face (you can't shoot someone in the face if they are in a car with the windows rolled up and they are driving away), Craig, using one of those LAPD-style corruption tricks, let Justin's uncle, CPD Distrtict 3 commander, Cpt. Russell Neville, participate in the investigation. Justin's former coach and family friend, CPD Assistant Chief Paul Humphries, also participated. What happened to the counterfeit money? What happened to the equipment used to manufacture the counterfeit money? Craig says no counterfeit money was recovered. (The cops made it all go away.) Craig has said no laws were broken by Justin or his boys.


7. After Dontez was murdered, Craig made sure Dontez's boys got charged with murder even though we all know they didn't shoot Dontez, Orlando did. After Justin was shot, Craig worked with Justin's uncle and Justin's former coach to make sure no criminal charges were brought against Anthony Wuestefeld, Derek McKinley or David Corso. Craig said LaSalle and the white men had suffered enough.


8. Who can forget when the cops shot and killed Erica Collins in Mt. Airy for allegedly holding a knife. Before any investigation was done, Craig held a Hollywood-style press conference and told the investigators who work for him that the officer was entirely justified.

9. Craig gave Scotty Johnson's little sister, Julian Johnson, a promotion. Then he did nothing as CPD Sgt. Julie Johnson lied and got busted in lies. The good news is, Jules (as she's known on the radio) stopped stinking up the airwaves on WDBZ (The Buzz).


10. Craig never once corrected FOP president Kathy Herrell when she lied to the community and said the city wouldn't fire or layoff any cops. (Charlie Winburn and Christopher Smitherman aka The Sillyman also told this lie.)


Bottom Line. Many DNegros are running around saying Craig did a wonderful job. Others are excusing Iris Roley (Cincinnati's version of the infamous Nurse Rivers from the Tuskegee syphilis study) for, once again, bringing poison into the Black community. When you ask these people for facts, they become like a cheerleaders for the Cincinnati Bengals who can't provide any facts to support their opinion that the team is doing a great job. It's all about emotions.


The Cincinnati Black Blog is glad James Craig is leaving Cincinnati. We just hope the city gets a good forwarding address to provide to the U.S. Justice Department so they can bring Craig back to town to answer for his crimes.

Cincinnati Police Chief James Craig is leaving the Cincinnati Police Department after a year & a half on the job.  Chief Craig (known on this site as "Hollywood Craig") is heading to his hometown of Detroit, Michigan where he has stated he has aging parents and family.

What are your thoughts (if any) about the job "Hollywood Craig" has done since he graced us with his presence on the Cincinnati Police Department fresh from the corrupt and murderous Los Angeles Police Department (and you wonder why the brother Christopher Dorner went after those racist lying pigs). 

Hollywood Craig brought that same type of LA style policing to Cincinnati. One need only take a look at the La Salle High School white boys counterfeiting money/drug deal gone bad where Justin Brown, 17 was killed and a black man's freedom hangs in the balance, the murder cover-up of the sister Erica Collins, 26 killed by Cincinnati Police Officer Matthew Latsy in Mt. Airy, and the murder of Dontez O'Neal, 19 in Avondale by long out-of-control rogue Cincinnati Police Officer Orlando Smith.

It is the opinion of the black community and the opinion of the investigative team here at The Black Fist Organization that Hollywood Craig assisted in helping his police colleagues in covering-up these heinous vicious murders.  Remember Hollywood Craig always jumped in front of the television media cameras and white radio proclaiming "It was a justified".  Yet this man Hollywood Chief Craig would always jump on black radio WDBZ 1230 am "The Buzz" of Cincinnati and state, "I [Craig] just don't have enough information to speak to the investigation at hand".


"Hollywood Craig" is gone in June. He's taking his LA style of policing to Detroit, and we here in The Black Fist Organization say ...

What does McDonald's do now with Cleveland hero Charles Ramsey?


The day he helped rescue three women in the Cleveland kidnapping case, Charles Ramsey couldn't stop talking about his McDonald's lunch. McDonald's took note. Now what does it do?

There’s no such thing as bad publicity, they say, but what about when your brand is associated with a tragic news event involving torture, rape, and kidnapping?


That is the situation now facing McDonald’s, the fast-food burger chain that was name-dropped incessantly in the media following last week’s rescue of Michelle Knight, Gina DeJesus, and Amanda Berry from a Cleveland house where police say they were captive for 10 years. Charles Ramsey, a neighbor who rescued Ms. Berry and first alerted police, became an online folk hero when videos of him went viral.

Not only did Mr. Ramsey deliver colorful one-liners that instantly became fodder for meme creators, but, in describing how he happened upon Berry’s cries for help, he continually reminded interviewers he heard them when he was just minding his own business and enjoying a meal from – you guessed it – McDonald’s.


McDonald’s heard the call and last week issued a tweet telling Ramsey “way to go” and “we’ll be in touch.” The company followed up with a press release, saying it would “personally be reaching out to Mr. Ramsey directly as we said we would.”


When choosing to become involved in an international news event that involved such horror – Ariel Castro, is charged with three counts of rape and four counts of kidnapping in the case – is there a good time or a bad time for a company to extend a helping hand?

To some brand marketers, it depends on the situation. Oreo, for example, earned raves after it swiftly sent a tweet in the moment following a blackout during the Super Bowl in New Orleans. It told followers: “You can still dunk in the dark.”

Other brands that were suddenly thrust into the national conversation this past year include Sketchers (the boots a New York City police officer was photographed handing a homeless person in Times Square), Poland Spring (the water brand Marco Rubio reached for during his Republican rebuttal to the president's State of the Union speech), Skittles and Arizona Iced Tea (the items Trayvon Martin bought at a convenience store before his fatal confrontation with George Zimmerman), and Big Bird (name-checked by Mitt Romney during a presidential debate).

In all these cases, the companies were forced to respond in ways especially tailored to the situation. For example, after the Internet exploded with people’s admiration of police officer Larry DePrimo’s generosity in helping the homeless man stay warm with a pair of their boots, Sketchers announced it was donating 50 pairs of insulated boots to a homeless shelter.

In the case of Ramsey, the Cleveland man should receive some kind of compensation from McDonald’s, especially since the company made the public commitment to establish some kind of relationship, experts say.

“When a multinational corporation makes a commitment, it has to follow through,” says Karen Mishra, an associate professor of marketing at the Meredith College School of Business in Raleigh, N.C.


One suggestion: offer him a job at a local McDonald’s.

“I'm sure that they wanted to capitalize on the moment … but when you make a hasty decision without knowing exactly who is involved, just because they say they are using your product, you commit yourself, your company and your brand, no matter what,” Professor Mishra says.

Ramsey, it turns out, was convicted of domestic violence three times from 1997 to 2003 and served time in jail – though supporters note that was a decade ago.

Others say the company might bypass Ramsey and promote a charitable cause directed to the victims.

“If McDonald’s wants to ride the social media publicity wave, it could make a seed donation to a fund that will help pay for some of the medical care and psychiatric treatment these victims will need so they can reenter society and live normal lives,” says Mark Tatge, a professor at DePauw University’s Center for Contemporary Media in Greencastle, Ind.

In the end, “the extremely sensitive nature of the case, the fleeting and flighty nature of instant fame, and the under-the-surface vagaries of Charles” might mean it’s not a good idea for McDonald’s to become involved at all, says Chas Withers, president of Dix & Eaton, a branding firm in Cleveland.

“While not directly ‘exploitative,’ it doesn't necessarily feel true to McDonald's principles and values and is short-term thinking that might include more risk than reward,” Mr. Withers says.

After all, another person involved in the case enjoyed McDonald’s cuisine the same day as Ramsey: Mr. Castro. Police made their rest as he sat in his car in a McDonald’s parking lot. His brothers also reported that, at least on one occasion, Castro took the 6-year-old girl he had with Ms. Berry to a McDonald’s restaurant and told people she was the daughter of his girlfriend.

“Brands do indeed walk a fine line when they consider possible celebrity endorsers, even if they are only famous for the proverbial 15 minutes,” says Ronald Hill, a professor at the Villanova School of Business Marketing in Philadelphia. “Once a firm makes the connection, there is no going back. In fact, whatever positive synergy that might have occurred can be lost when the larger media makes a big deal out of a poor decision to link arms.”

STALKING PART II: KENYAN WOMEN ARE BEING BURNED BY THE MEN THEY LOVE

In this Part II of our series on "Stalking", this story comes all the way from the Motherland, the beautiful continent of Africa.  Africa may be a beautiful continent with its beautiful black people, its beautiful landscape, and beautiful safaris, but not all things in Africa are beautiful.  There is plenty of domestic violence, brutalization, fear, destruction, intimidation, jealousy, murder, and mayhem going on in Africa and particularly (for the sake of this piece) Nairobi, Kenya.

Check out these stories brothers & sisters which falls right in line with our series on "Stalking".  This is an extremely sad story and it just goes to show that the black man all over the diaspora are losing their minds over the black woman and going completely and utterly nuts!  Using brutality and violence to keep a woman with you is stupid black man, if she doesn't want you, she just doesn't want you.  It's just that simple.  But I suppose in reality matters of the (so-called) heart are never truly simple.  With that being said, it is NEVER an excuse for any brother to terrorize, maim, and instill fear into his woman.  PERIOD!  "Violence Can Be Met With Violence", but who wants to go there just because some black man is living in denial, blaming his black woman for all of his wrongs (and all of the wrongs he created in his life) and who is all fucked up in the head about it?

Mexico City prosecutors arrest 2 men in Malcolm X grandson’s death

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico City prosecutors say they have arrested two men in connection with the death of Malcolm Shabazz, the grandson of political activist Malcolm X.

An official of the city’s prosecutor’s office who was not authorized to be quoted by name says the two suspects are employees of the bar where Shabazz reportedly got in a violent dispute last week.

The 28-year-old Shabazz died of blunt-force trauma injuries. A companion said the dispute involved a $1,200 bar tab.
The official was unable to provide further details Monday.


Much like his grandfather, Shabazz spent his youth in and out of trouble. He was taken to a hospital in Mexico City where he died Thursday.

Today will be the first in a series of articles geared toward the protection and the defense of the black woman against the very serious and very dangerous situtation that faces many black women in our community and around the country.  The danger I am speaking of is called "Stalking".

What exactly is "Stalking"?  Well, the legal definition of stalking according to The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) is:


"Stalking is a pattern of repeated and unwanted attention, harassment, contact, or any other course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person to feel fear."



Stalking can include:

• Repeated, unwanted, intrusive, and frightening communications from the perpetrator by phone, mail, and/or email.

• Repeatedly leaving or sending victim unwanted items, presents, or flowers.

• Following or laying in wait for the victim at places such as home, school, work, or recreation place.

• Making direct or indirect threats to harm the victim, the victim's children, relatives, friends, or pets.

• Damaging or threatening to damage the victim's property.

• Harassing victim through the internet.

• Posting information or spreading rumors about the victim on the internet, in a public place, or by word of mouth.

• Obtaining personal information about the victim by accessing public records, using internet search services, hiring private investigators, going through the victim's garbage, following the victim, contacting victim's friends, family work, or neighbors, etc.

A person who is no longer romantically involved with their ex-partner and that ex-partner refuses to let go of the relationship that person has become a stalker.  If a woman tells a man flat-out that "it's over" and she wants nothing more to do with that him and he continues pursuing the woman with unwanted phone calls, voice mails, emails, text messages, instant messages, gifts, & uninvited unwanted appearances at the woman's home ... That constitutes "Stalker Behavior".

We here at The Black Fist Blog will explore even deeper the psychological and emotionally unstable actions of the crazed savage stalker, and what you black woman, (or in other cases black man) can do to protect and defend yourself against the insane actions of the unwanted stalker.

This series is geared specifically for the black woman, however if there is a black man out there who has some savage crazed black woman who won't let it go then this series is for you too.

In Conclusion To Part I :

Sisters, it is best to take ALL actions of stalking seriously because there is no limit to what an out-of-control black man, once he knows he has fucked up and is still in DENIAL of his OWN actions, and that black woman whom he used to be involved with has become fed-up will do to interrupt your life because his is so empty.

Refusal to let go of a relationship that is no longer in existance has its consequences and its reprecussion ... & those will also be discussed as we moved further into our series.  Until then Black woman, stay safe, stay on high alert, & stay strong!

The Black Fist Organization has known for years that this Snake in a Suit has been long out of control, power-tripping, & ego-tripping.  We have also know that this snake in a suit has a very dark side to him that is positively volatile and downright creepy with the potential to hurt someone or set people up to be hurt, just ask a former General of ours who helped co-founded this organization. General Kabaka Oba ... Oh that's right, the old General is dead and who is responsible for his demise ... you guessed it ... The Snake in a Suit himself.

Take a look at this article written back in 2011 about the violent tendencies of this snake in a public place no less. We always thought he perpetrated his violence behind closed doors.  I guess we were wrong!

The head of the Cincinnati chapter of the NAACP and one-term city council member, Smitherman has a long history of outlandish statements, paranoid conspiracy theories, shameless opportunism (witness Smitherman climbing into bed with right-wing tea party groups like COAST, and becoming a perpetual gadfly on race-baiting 700-WLW to further his own political ambitions), and generally being a militant activist against any idea or proposal that might actually improve job prospects and the quality of life for the people he claims to represent. This is the guy who led a successful referendum against a proposed regional waterworks district — a proposal that would have saved the city millions that could’ve otherwise been used for inner-city schools and public safety — on the grounds that it would provide a means for city leaders to pump syphilis into black communities via the drinking water supply. Seriously.


Smitherman’s latest cause du jour is yet another campaign to block construction of the Cincinnati Streetcar, after a similar campaign in 2009 was defeated by voters 56% to 44%. You’d think the NAACP would be in favor of improved public transportation options in the urban core. Indeed, the NAACP has been an outspoken proponent of mass transit in many other cities. The stated reasons for Smitherman’s opposition to the streetcar? Gentrification.

For the moment I’ll leave aside the tacit admission that the streetcar will indeed bring jobs and much-needed redevelopment to downtown and Over-the-Rhine, instead of being a costly “boondoggle” that nobody will use, as claimed by opponents. (The streetcar either won’t work at all or it will work too well. Take your pick.) But given that OTR still has over 500 vacant buildings and some parts of the neighborhood remain mired in poverty and violence, fears about gentrification seem a bit overstated. Smitherman’s real, unstated concern is that continued improvements in OTR will deprive him of the poverty-stricken ghetto from which he derives his political power base. Rather than working to ensure that the rising tide lifts all boats, he’d rather keep the his constituents stuck in the muck, because that’s how demagogues remain in power.

Enter Kevin Osborne of CityBeat Cincinnati, an alternative weekly newspaper. This past week Osborne published an op-ed that rightly eviscerates Smitherman & Co. for their deceptive effort to kill any hope of passenger rail in Cincinnati for the next decade:

It’s not a surprise that COAST — which is Libertarian to the extreme, dislikes government involvement in most sectors of society and hates mass transit — would try to pull the wool over voters’ eyes. One COAST leader, Anderson Township resident Chris Finney, is a crackerjack attorney who’s made a lucrative career from suing governments and promoting ultra-conservative legislation. Make no doubt, the wording in the proposed amendment isn’t a mistake; it’s there for a reason and COAST realizes its full impact.

The real question is why would Christopher Smitherman and Michelle Edwards of the local NAACP go along with such a far-reaching initiative?

Do they honestly think the predominantly African-American residents of poor, inner-city neighborhoods like Avondale and Evanston wouldn’t be well-served by having cheap transportation to job centers in Mason and Northern Kentucky? And just what do you think a gallon of gasoline will be selling for on Dec. 31, 2020.
Osborne’s piece apparently struck a nerve with Smitherman’s NAACP. Did they respond by submitting their own op-ed that articulates their opposition to the project? Of course not; that just wouldn’t be the Smitherman way. Smitherman’s volunteers found it much easier to simply gather all the print copies of CityBeat from sidewalk newsstands and dump them into the garbage. As luck would have it, a blogger for CincyVoices.com happened to be walking by at the moment:

When me and my girlfriend were walking home from the Downtown Dash 5k I saw a Chris Smitherman campaign worker collecting signatures. I thought “I hope she doesn’t expect us to sign anything.” Luckily she walked right past us, but it was her next action that offended me. She opened up the City Beat bin on 7th and Race and threw away every issue inside. For someone running for office to have their campaign workers go out and throw out issues of publications who disagree with him is pretty appalling. There are plenty of times I disagree with the Cincinnati Enquirer, but would never even think about going around town and tossing out bins of Enquirers.

This is only the latest in a long series of thuggish and deceptive antics that have been pulled by streetcar opponents over the years, and it almost certainly won’t be the last. If you witness anything along these lines, don’t confront the person engaging in such behavior, but document what you can via photos or videos, and get the word out. Contact the Hamilton County Board of Elections and Cincinnatians for Progress if you witness anything that might be illegal, and stay vigilant. The good news is, Smitherman is struggling to even gather enough petition signatures by the deadline to get his anti-rail measure on the November ballot, and even if it makes it onto the ballot, we’re confident that it will be defeated by voters in a similar manner as the failed Issue 9 initiative in 2009.

Busted! NAACP To Sillyman: Stop Endorsing Or Lose Presidency!!!

The Cincinnati Black Blog has obtained a CEASE & DESIST letter sent from the National Office of the NAACP to Cincinnati NAACP president Christopher Smitherman (forever known on this blog as The Sillyman). The letter instructs The Sillyman to IMMEDIATELY "...issue a statement clearly indicating that your endorsement of Ms. [Amy] Murray represents your personal opinion and not that of the NAACP...to the local media in Cincinnati...." What happens if The Sillyman doesn't comply with the National Office's order? The letter continues "Failure to comply with this request may result in your REMOVAL AS PRESIDENT of the Cincinnati Branch AND SUSPENSION OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN THE NAACP or OTHER DISCIPLINARY ACTION as deemed appropriate by the National Board of Directors." Wow!



The cease and desist letter was mailed to The Sillyman FIVE DAYS AGO - on May 3, 2013. The Sillyman was ordered to IMMEDIATELY issue a statement. He hasn't. Our sources close to The Sillyman tell us he hasn't issued a statement yet because he doesn't intend to issue one. He wants his lawyer, Christopher P. Finney, to wage a costly fight against the NAACP and the Internal Revenue Service.

Smitherman Revenge Plot: Retaliate Against NAACP...No More $$$ For Black Community!!!

The Cincinnati Black Blog was first to report on the cease & desist letter from the NAACP's National Office to Cincinnati NAACP president Christopher Smitherman (forever known on this blog as The Sillyman). THE SILLYMAN IS GOING CRAZY


Our sources and snitches deep inside The Sillyman's camp tell us their hero is outraged!!! Who the Hell does the National Office think they're dealing with!?! In his mind, he's a leader of the city's opposition party. (He's really just a front man.) He's running a shadow government. He has as much POWER as, or maybe even more than, Mayor Mark Mallory and City Manager Milton Dohoney combined. You see, he has the silent majority behind him. He speaks for the (white) people. It's all fantasy, but when has The Sillyman ever faced reality.


REVENGE


To solidify his position as mouthpiece for the opposition, yesterday The Sillyman released a list of proposed cuts then today he went on a media campaign designed to reassure the white community he is loyal to them...he isn't tricking them this time...he really is on their side. But more than that he is firmly against the city's DNegros (the "D" is silent). To prove it, he called on the city to balance the budget on the backs of Blacks. The Cincinnati Black Blog has obtained The Sillyman's proposed cuts. He want to immediately end all city funding of the following groups or agencies:


•The Center for Closing the Health Gap

•African American Chamber of Commerce

•Juneteenth

•Black Family Reunion


The Sillyman wants to punish the NAACP and all Black people living or working in the city (who haven't adequately and blindly followed him). He says he wants to cut EVERYONE. But notice that nowhere in his lists or in his media interviews does he ever suggest ending the $225,000.00 no-bid contract that benefits his campaign contributor Jim Clingman. Oh, yeah, he ignored that conflict of interest and voted to give Clingman the contract.

Today in white folk world people are celebrating "Valentine's Day", but here on The Black Fist Blog everyday is "Black Love Day".  Since the white folks wanna get all mushy and gushy, we queens and kings of the diaspora decided in keeping with Black Fist historical tradition to honor, celebrate, and embrace this special day of sheer black love

Brothers & Sistas, take time out to say "I love you" to your significant other, and if you do not have a significant other than say "I love you" to a loved one, a mother, a father, a sister, a brother, ... a friend.

I will return at a later date to delve deeper into this thing called "Black Love", and everything surrounding the deep passionate love between the true black king and his true black queen.
