The 22nd film in the James Bond 007 franchise is hitting theatres this Friday!!!

I can't wait to see the sequel to the 2006 mega hit Casino Royale titled Quantum of Solace. Casino Royale star Daniel Craig is back in the starring role of Bond, James Bond. And Judi Dench is back to reprise her role of Mr. Bond's M16 boss "M".
The trailer for Quantum of Solace looks really good!

Check out the trailer for Casino Royale.
Then check out the all new official trailer for Quantum of Solace.

Quantum of Solace is the name of a story by Ian Fleming, creator of Bond. Here's a passage where the expression occurs:

I've seen flagrant infidelities patched up, I've seen crimes and even murder foreign by the other party, let alone bankruptcy and other forms of social crime. Incurable disease, blindness, disaster - all of these can be overcome. But never the death of common humanity in one of the partners. I've thought about this and I've invented a rather high-sounding title for this basic factor in human relations. I have called it the law of the Quantum of Solace.

Bond said, "That's a splendid name for it. It's certainly impressive enough. And of course I see what you mean. I should say you're absolutely right. Quantum of Solace - the amount of comfort. Yes, I suppose you can say that all love and friendship is based in the end on that. Human beings are very insecure. When the other person not only makes you feel insecure but actually seems to want to destroy you, it's obviously the end. The Quantum of Solace stands at zero. You've got to get away to save yourself."

This is a Black Fist Movie Report!
See YOU At The Movies!
Quantum of Solace.... "A Measure of Comfort"
"You've got to get away to save yourself".... ;-()

Damn that last statement you wrote was deep but the whole definition of Quantum of Solace is deep. I had not idea of what that title meant now I do and after seeing how Casino Royale ended I can understand what the title means in conjuntion to the new movie.
Thanks for explaining the title and posting the trailer for both.

I liked the movie I thought Casino Royale was better though I'll tell something I rather see it on DVD cause you get the extended version and the extra behind the scene. I'd give the movie a C+
