The date is March 17th. The year is 1963. El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz Bro. Minister Malcolm X (Peace Be Upon Him) debates on a Chicago television show called "City Desk". The topic of discussion for Bro. Minister is to let the white man know that the "masses of black people are dissatisfied" with the (mis)treatment and racial (in)equality it receives from the so-called European here in America. In other words, not all so-called Negroes here on this soil are your "happy-skinning-grinning-do-whatever-evil-you-want-to-me-and-I'll-still-love-you-massa-type-negro"! Oh No! And its not surprising how many of our misguided so-called highly educated Negroes in so-called positions act that way in the year 2008. Pride and Dignity can NOT be bought and sold brothers and sisters. To view this particular vintage film clip is a privilege and an honor, for our dear brother Malcolm X loved us so (the African trapped here in America) that he risked it all life and limb to tell the white man to his face freedom or death... By Any Means Necessary!" And the man knew what he meant. Black Militants and Black Nationalist throughout the Diaspora knows exactly what he meant! Because those of us who REFUSE to give up and give in NEVER to forget to evils of slavery and racial discrimination can always use a 'touch-up/refresher course' when it comes to the true meaning behind the words, "Struggle for Freedom and Black Liberation"!
