The R&B singer sat down with CNN's Piers Morgan last night to talk about the controversial Trayvon Martin case.

Morgan asked the singer about what she thought was "the bigger picture" in this case and why the black community is growing more and more angry.

"We are sick and tired in America of seeing little children lost and children gone missing and they never make the 9 o'clock or the 5 o'clock news. You can go back the last five years and I don't think, I think maybe one other kid, black child, football player, was covered on the news. I think there's really something wrong with that," Khan said.

The singer has created a remake of the song "Super Life" in memory of Martin, with the help of fellow entertainers Eric Benet, Kelly Price, Kenny Lattimore, Angela Bassett, Terry Crews and Boris Kodjoe.

Watch the videos below. First a musical tribute from Sis. Chaka Khan & friends then the Piers Morgan Interview.

Description of the Musical Tribute:

The death of Trayvon Martin was a shot heard around the world. Celebrities are privileged beyond belief to have a public following. We have explored and exploited media to our own benefits. Now its time to exploit media for the benefit of humanity as a whole. As purveyors of content and media, we need to use our voices to stop injustice at the site of its origin.
