IN RETROSPECT...

General Kabaka Oba & General Nikki X raising the level of conscienceness about the evils of Racism & Police Brutality at a protest in front of The Police Memorial Statue. Circa, April 2002.

JUDGEMENT DAY

GENERAL KABAKA OBA 1958-2006

DEAR KABAKA,

WHERE EVER YOU ARE, I HOPE YOU ARE FINALLY AT PEACE WITH YOURSELF. WE BUILT THE BLACK FIST TOGETHER AND WE LOVED ONE ANOTHER DEEPLY. OUR MISSION WAS A SIMPLE MISSION BUT THE HARDEST ONE ON THE PLANET. BUT TOGETHER WE DID IT AND WE ELEVATED OUR PEOPLE TO A LEVEL OF CONSCIENCENESS NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN THE CITY OF CINCINNATI.

OH KABAKA, I PRAY THAT AT THE END OF YOUR LIFE, WHEN YOU TOOK YOUR FINAL BREATH, AND CLOSED YOUR EYES FOREVER... SOMEWHERE DEEP INSIDE YOUR SOUL, SOMEWHERE DEEP INSIDE YOUR HEART. YOU FOUND THE STRENGTH TO REMEMBER, ONE LAST TIME.....

HOW MUCH WE LOVED EACH OTHER.
HOW MUCH I LOVED YOU.

GOODBYE KABAKA.

NIKKI X
