THE BLACK MOSES: ISAAC HAYES DEAD AT 65

With deep sadness and regret I bring to you, my faithful readers, the news of the death of yet another black shining star. The man people called The Black Moses", R&B Icon, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and Actor Isaac Hayes has died at the age of 65. News reports are sketchy but this is what is known. On today, August 10, 2008, Hayes' wife found him on the floor near a treadmill inside his home located just east of Memphis, Tennessee. A Shelby County, Tennesee sheriff's deputy responded to Hayes' home. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to revived Bro. Hayes at his home he then was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, where he was pronounced dead at 2:08pm, at the age of 65. Just 10 days before his 66th Earthday (birthday). The cause of death was not immediately known and foul play has not been suspected. Bro. Hayes won the 1972 Academy Award for Best Original Song for the "Theme From Shaft" and was also nominated for Best Original Score for "Shaft" in that same year. He won the Grammy Awards for Best Instrumental Arrangement, "Theme from Shaft" in 1972, Best Original Score Written for a Motion Picture or Television Special, "Theme from Shaft", and Best Pop Instrumental Performance by an Arranger, Composer, Orchestra and/or Choral Leader, for "Black Moses". Bro. Isaac Hayes was also an accomplished actor on the Big Screen and Television with memorable turns in over 25 motion pictures such as, "Soul in Cimema: Filming Shaft on Location" (1971), "The Black Moses of Soul" (1973), "Truck Turner" (1974), "Escape from New York" (1981), "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka" (1988), "Fire, Ice & Dynamite" (1990), "CB4" (1993), "Posse" (1993), "Blues Brothers" (1998), "South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut" (voice) (1999), "Shaft" (2000), "Dr. Dolittle 2" (voice)(2001) and "Hustle & Flow" (2005) just to name a few. And we can never forget Bro. Isaac's debut album from 1969 titled, "Hot Buttered Soul", that particular LP put "The Black Moses" on the map. I personally love Isaac Hayes' instrumental of "The Birth of Shaft", which can be found on his 1995 CD titled, "Raw & Refined", "Ike's Rap" from the 1986 LP "U-Turn" and "I Stand Accused" from the 1986 LP "The Best of Isaac Hayes Volume 1". On "Ike's Rap", Bro. Ike has just discovered to his heartbreak that his woman is on crack cocaine and his plea to her is DEEP and a must hear for yourself. "The Isaac Hayes Ultimate Collection" CD (2000) has both "The Birth of Shaft", "Ike's Rap", and the song provided in the video below. If you haven't heard either one or need a refresher on those cuts and more, I suggest you pick up "The Isaac Hayes Ultimate Collection" and chill! Bro. Isaac Hayes will greatly be missed in the world of music and the world at large. A big voice is silenced yet in our hearts the big man called "The Black Moses" lives on forever. As promised I now leave you with two of Bro. Ike's classic pieces of musical artistry. The first piece is 9 mintues 40 seconds. If you know anything about Isaac Hayes then you know he was known for his looong and lavish musical journeys which is just fine by us! That piece is called "Hyperbolicsyllabicsesquedalymystic", from his 1969 debut LP "Hot Buttered Soul". And yes, Bro. Hayes loved his looong and lavish song titles as well. This 12 mintue song, (cut down for this video to 10 mintues if you can call that a cut down ;-) is simply beautiful. "W": THE OFFICIAL MOVIE TRAILER

While others are already dubbing it "the absolute TRUTH". I, for one anticipate the release of this movie. I'm pleased that Oliver Stone had the guts to at least release the movie to the public BEFORE old "W" (or "Dub-ya" as its pronounced) leaves office NEVER TO RETURN AGAIN! When the official trailer for this film is released you can rest assure, my faithful readers, I'll post it right here for your viewing. Until then check out what CNN's Jack Cafferty and others have to say about the upcoming biopic, "W".
Then ask yourself this question: "Will you slap down your $10 bucks to see this biopic when it hits a theatre near you?" -Or- "Will you just write it off as a tale of fiction by "Bush haters" and save your dough?"

DO BLACK FOLKS NEED A LEADER?

That is the question we ask today. We hear alot of national and local rhetoric regarding the issue of "Black Leadership". On a national level we hear the conversation as it pertains to Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama being a "black leader". Is Sen. Obama a "black leader?" And on a local level we hear the conversation ad nauseam from an ex-one-term council negro who demands that you follow him blindly without question because he claims to "love you so" and claims to have a proven "track record in the community." What do you think? Do black folks even need a leader? Can the so-called America Negro survive without one? Are organizations like the NAACP, Rainbow Push and The National Action Network to name a few, what you Mr. & Mrs. Negro look to when there's trouble in black America? We are asking these very relevant questions and we want to hear from you.

COMEDIAN ACTOR BERNIE MAC DEAD AT 50

WIth great sadness I bring the news that comedian actor Bernie Mac has died at the age of 50. Bernie Mac died in a Chicago area hospital. No official cause of death has been released, however, news reports are stating Bro. Mac was admitted to the hospital several days ago suffering from an undisclosed illnesss. News reports go on to state Bro. Mac passed away from complications while battling a bout of severe Pneumonia.

"The Kings of Comedy" (picture above with fellow "Kings") and "The Bernie Mac Show" are just two of his most popular vehicles for making us laugh. More on the death of Bernie Mac in the days to follow.

MIAMI - A manwho authorities said was keeping weapons and militar-style gear in his hotel room and car appeared in court Thursday on charges he threatened to asassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. Raymond Hunter Geisel, 22, was arrested Staurday in Miami's downtown detention center without bail Thursday by a federal magistrate. A Secret Service affidavit charges that Geisel made the threat during a training class for bail bondsmen in Miami in late July. According to someone else in the 48-member class, Geisel allegedly referred to Obama with a racial epithet and continued, "If he gets elected, I'll asassinate him myself." Obama was most recently in Florida on Aug 1-2 but did not visit the South Florida area. Another person in the class quoted Geisel as saying that "he hated George W. Bush and that he wanted to put a bullet in the president's head," according to Secret Service. Geisel denied in a written statement to a Secret Service agent that he ever made those threats, and the documents don't indicate that he ever took steps to carry out any assassination. He was charged only with threatening Obama, the presumptive Democratic nominee, but not for any threats against President Bush. Geisel's court-appointed attorney declined comment. The charge of threatening a major candidate for president or vice-president carries a maximum prison sentence of five years. The Obama campaign declined comment Thursday on the alleged threat. In an interview with a Secret Service agent, Geisel said, "if he wanted to kill Senator Obama he simply would shoot hiim with a sniper fire, but then he claimed that he was just joking," according to court documents. A search of Geisel's 1998 Ford Explorer and hotel room in Miami uncovered a loaded 9mm handgun, knives, dozens of rounds of ammunition including armor-piercing types, body armor, military-style fatigues and a machete. The SUV, which has Maine license plates, was wired with flashing red and yellow emergengy lights. Geiseltold Secret Service he was originally from Bangor, Maine, and had been living recently in a houseboat in the florida Keys town of Marathon, according to court documents. He said he used the hundgun for training for the bail bondmen class, had knives for protection and used the machete to cut brush in Maine. Authorities in Maine said Geisel pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal threatening after a 2007 incident and spent 48 hours in a Bangor jail. Police in Hampden, a town just outside Bangor, received a compliant from Geisel's brother on Oct. 18, 2007 that Geisel had threatened him with a knife, Hampden police Sgt. Dan Stewart said. Geisel was charged with criminal threatening and terrorizing; the second charge was later dropped. The Secret Service affidavit said Geisel told agents that he suffered from psychiatric problems including post-tramatic stress disorder, but couldn't provide the names of any facilities where he sought treatment.

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is now freed from a Detroit jail on a $60,000 bond and must wear an electronic monitoring unit (ankle bracelet) on his leg. What's next folks?!? I mean what the hell is going on?!!? Is the Mayor suppose to go to work at City Hall, attend Detroit council meetings and deal with the day-to-day business of Detroit with a dag-gone ankle bracelet around his leg?
Talk about straight up public humiliation for a black mayor of a city to have to endure.

This would NEVER in a million years happen to a white mayor of ANY city!

MAYOR'S DOGS SHOT BY POLICE, OUTRAGED POLICE WON'T ADMIT GUILT

It appears Maryland police officials refuse to admit any wrongdoing in the shooting death of the mayor's two dogs. The mayor and his wife are reportedly "distraught" over this incident after SWAT teams busted in their home, handcuffed the family (the mayor in his boxer draws), searched for marijuana that was reportedly being sold from the home then shot the two fidos dead. The police had a search warrant to search the home. This incident "allegedly" occured after the mayor, Cheye Calvo brought a package into his home "allegedly" not knowing the package he was carrying contained illegal drugs. Through all of this, the mayor DEMANDS an admission of guilt from top police officials over the shooting death of his two dogs. Ain't that something brothers and sisters? Sure glad the mayor and his wife never had a black son in America.

DETROIT MAYOR JAILED

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick jailed on on violation of his bond? WTF!?! Is really going on up in Chocolate City?!? I'm going to have to contact some of my fellow (black activist) soldiers on the ground up in Detroit to find out the real deal surrounding our brother Kilpatrick's seemingly downward spiral. From the beginning, this case called by the white-controlled media, "The Text Messasaging Scandal" stinks up to high heaven. And along with the sordid details of some type of "alleged affair" between the married Mayor Kilpatrick and his assistant, a woman by the name of Christine Beatty. Some reports are saying this whole thing is nothing more than a evil vendetta against Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick based on his firing of certain unsavory rogue Detroit Police officers.

Yeah, I need to take some time out this weekend and talk to my brother and sister comrades on the ground (activist soldiers) who really know what the white-controlled press doesn't want you and I to know.

As with the case when you 99th annual NAACP negroe convention came to Cincinnati a few weeks ago, the police here in town treated the out-of-town negroes [reportedly] with "exceptional care and courtesy". Of course, while the spotlight and the cameras were rolling and [both] presidential candidates looming in and out giving speeches what else could they do?. And some negroes here (particularly black radio talk show host & most of their callers) thought it was a "turning of the page" overall for blacks here in the city. What is even more pathetic than that is the local president of the negroe chapter here [reportedly, and not so soon AFTER the convention hightailed it out-of-town] is still talking that, "this city is sooo racist against the black man" RHETORIC (we say "rhetoric" ONLY because its coming from that hypocrite) outta one side of his mouth YET was pleased as punch breaking the boycott & encouraging others to do so as well. From the time he arrived on the public scene, the local so-called chapter president of the NAACP has always broken the economic boycott of downtown that's STILL in place on this city. While making the great white fathers of this city [even more] MILLIONS of dollars and sticking his little chest out about how the little struggling negroe on the ground made a couple of dollars. The human EGO is truly fascinating, don'tcha think?
It all goes back to show that if you wanna know the REAL climate of a city, its city officials, its police force, and its so-called negroe leaders... Go to the negroes that actually LIVE there in that city and ask them. The blacks who are on the ground fighting scratching and scuffling everyday just to survive will more than likely ALWAYS tell you the truth! I'll tell ya' it may not always be good news, but it's hood news! I'll report back brothers and sisters.

A LESSON ABOUT STALKING: THE LIFE YOU SAVE MAY BE YOUR OWN!

The video below is a 2 mintue 20 second exerpt from the movie entitled "In Broad Daylight". Originally, a 1988 novel by author Harry N. MacLean. This fascinating piece was based on actual events that took place in 1981 in the town of Skidmore, Missouri. In 1992, it was made into a made-for-television movie of the same name. The movie tells the story of real life terroristic town bully and stalker named, Kevin Rex McElroy (the name was changed to Len Rowan for the movie version). A man who thought he could terrorize and threaten the townspeople of Skidmore, by doing whatever evil he wanted to do to them and thinking all the while nothing would ever happen to him. Kevin Rex McElroy/Len Rowan thought he could threaten and bully these people whenever he wanted to threaten and bully them because everyone was afraid of him. Kevin Rex McElroy/Len Rowan thought he could stalk, harrass, and point guns at people even going so far as to actually assault the residence of Skidmore and nothing would ever happen to him. This bully, Kevin Rex McElroy/Len Rowan stole from the General Store (terrorizing and threatening the storeowner into never calling the sheriff on him...or else). He destroyed and stole property from the townspeople at whim thinking they were so terrified of him they'd never report the destruction and theft to the authorities. This big bad bully, Kevin Rex McElroy/Len Rowan, thought somewhere deep within his crazed sick criminally twisted perverted ego-driven mind NOTHING would ever on this earth happen to him. Why would he think that? Well, in the book and movie, this big bad bully truly thought he had EVERYBODY in the town punked out, terrified, petrified and shaking in their boots and HE DID! Of course, he thought he was smarter than everybody else even going so far as to terrorizing his own wife and family. Bullying them into keeping their mouths shut and looking the other way in lieu of all the evil deeds he continued to do to them and to others. He thought because no one in the town and no one in his own family fought back against his terroristic threats and unlawful behaviour...THEY NEVER WOULD. Wow! What a surprise the big bad bully Kevin Rex McElroy/Len Rowan got in the end! If you, my faithful readers, would like to read and/or view this amazing eye opening true life story I know that (as late as the posting of this entry) Amazon.com, Ebay and Overstock.com are selling the book and the DVD on their collective websites. I would strongly suggest everyone who believes in the biblical concept of "An eye for an eye, A tooth for a tooth"... "You reap what you sow"... "Venegance is mine saith the Lord"... "Live and Let Live" and so on and so forth to read this explosive book and view this equally explosive DVD movie called "In Broad Daylight". Then seriously consider and ask yourself this question: "Is being a so-called big bad bully terrorizing and threatening people who have never done anything to cause themselves to be terrorized and threatened, never done anything to the big bad bully except mind their own business and live their own lives really worth the truth and the consequence that could befall the big bad bully in the end for continuing on in his or her evil destructive pathway into hell?" Cause I'm quite sure in the opinion of those who have today found themselves in the unfortunate position of being continuously terrorized and threatened (as the townspeople of Skidmore, Missouri were back in 1981) for absolutely NO REASON except for that fact some self-destructing fool bully thinks he or she can get away with it unscathed would not. The advice to [the bully] would be to seriously consider rethinking the very unwise and very unhealthy choices to continue doing evil to others. And maybe just maybe after reading this book and viewing this DVD, the so-called big bad bully [himself] will think twice, reconsider his or her own pattern of unlawful actions, turn away from a no-win straight pathway into hell and leave well enough alone. And maybe just maybe those thoughts will hopefully -SOONER than later- cross the mind of the big bad bully.....before its absolutely and irreversibly too late. Stalking in any form is a CRIME. Becoming a victim in any form is NOT an option. If someone is NOT bothering you, the best thing to do is to LEAVE THEM ALONE. The life you save could ultimately be your OWN. ACTOR MORGAN FREEMAN INJURED AFTER AUTOMOBILE WRECK

(CNN) -- Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman was in serious condition at a Memphis hospital after being involved in a car accident Sunday night, according to hospital officials.
Milla Borden, spokeswoman for the Memphis Regional Medical Center, confirmed that Freeman was a patient at the hospital.

CNN affliliate WMC of Memphis reported that he was in a car accident in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, about 100 miles south of Memphis, late Sunday.

According to the Associated Press, Freeman was "lucid" when the rescue team found his car. "They had to use the jaws of life to extract him from the vehicle," Clay McFerrin, editor of San Sentinel in Charleston, Mississippi, said. "He was lucid, conscious. He was talking, joking with some of the rescue workers at one point."

McFerrin, who told the AP he arrived at the accident scene not long after the incident, said bystanders were trying to get a better look at the actor.

When one person tried to snap a photo with a cell phone camera, Freeman joked, "no freebies, no freebies," McFerrin told the AP.

Freeman, 71, won an Academy Award for best supporting actor in 2005 for his role in the gritty boxing film "Million Dollar Baby." He has been nominated for Oscars three other times, for the movies "Street Smart," "Driving Miss Daisy and "The Shawshank Redemption."

He's currently starring in two successful summer films, the hitman drama "Wanted" and the blockbuster "The Dark Knight."

He recently starred on Broadway in a production of the Clfford Odets play "The Country Girl."

Freeman was born in Memphis and spent part of his childhood in Mississippi. He owns a club, the Ground Zero Blues Club, in Clarksdale, Mississippi. In a 2005 interview with CNN, he said returning to the area was "one of the smartest moves I've made in my life".

"My aim in life, when I graduated from high school, was to get out of Mississippi," he said. "I started coming back in about 1979, because my parents moved back, which I couldn't understand. What in the world would make you come back here? It took me 20 years to figure that out."

Freeman's non-profit foundation has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to schools in the historically poor region, and he established the club in part to preserve the Delta's musical heritage.

Rapper & actor Chris "Ludacris" Bridges (pictured above) has made a music video and rap song about Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama called "Obama is Here". The 24 hr. LAME-stream cable news outlets, especially the Bill O'Reilly/Sean Hannity "Fix Noise" channel has been going buck crazy over this video (We believe it won't be long before Sean Hannity has a very public and very serious nervous breakdown!). We have to ponder the question: "If Ludacris had made this music video praising Republican presidential hopeful John McCain's campaign and candidacy, would the LAME-stream media be so up-in-arms & whining like newborn babies? -OR- Would the old guards be saying, "It's about time rappers stepped up to the plate and took on a role of responsibility. Getting the young people out to vote is crucial. We think its a great song!"





(For the record: Sen. Barack Obama's campaign has issued a public statement "rejecting" and "denouncing" Ludacris's "offensive" message and his music video.)

OBAMA HECKLED BY BLACK MEN: ACCUSED OF NOT ADDRESSING BLACK ISSUES

This video is very interesting to say the least. Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama gets heckled by protesters in ST. Petersburg, Florida during a town hall style meeting. The hecklers, who are black men, wanted to know why Sen. Obama hasn't spoken out on any real issues regarding the black community. Hurricane Katrina, The Sean Bell murder case in New York, Police brutality, Black injustice, Jena 6, and the Housing and Predatory lending crisis are just a few of the questions asked of Sen. Obama.

Listen closely to Sen. Obama as he attempts to answer one of the heckler's very legitimate questions.

In a sense, waiting on the world to change is not the complete answer. We, the black nation need to start the change from within and change ourselves. There's not a day that goes by when you turn on your television set, open your newspaper or scan the internet, that you don't hear about read about or see complete destruction, mayhem, murder, robbery, rape, sheer evil and the like.



Why does this have to be? My beloved Grandmother would say, "Cause the devil is out to steal, kill and destroy. The devil is busy!" I'm sure there are many in the black community young and old who can recall an elderly relative, neighbor and/or black pastor in a church reciting that famous quote at some point in their lives. I know I've heard it all my life, and it couldn't be more truer than right now, right here in this world we call "The New Millenium"/"Age of Technology".



I have a saying I've used in my own personal life for years, I recite it to myself everyday, even before my feet hit the floor in the morning and right after I thank the Creator Most High for his blessing and mercy in allowing me to see another day on this earth. I say, "I have another day and another way to get it right."

Which means, "Today is a new day so whatever was not accomplished yesterday can be accomplished today." "Whatever was done in a wrong way yesterday can be righted today." "If I didn't give enough love and forgiveness the day before, I can give even more love and forgiveness today."



I think you get the jest.



The black nation must come together in peace, love and unity for one another. This is NOT an option. This is a MUST!



Brothers and Sisters, the message I'm bringing forth today is a simple one yet the hardest one on the planet it would seem. We need to, as brothers and sisters, obligated to fullfilling the dreams of our strong proud ancestors from the time of creation - up through slavery - to right here where we stand - in this day in this time. We must find a way to co-exist with those amongst us who are unwilling to change from their devilish ways. We must find a way to live our lives as the Creator intended. We can not continue to bring war to our brothers and sisters when peace is what our brothers and sisters command and demand.



We can do better. We should do better. We must demand better for ourselves and our children.



We are the Kings and Queens of this planet. Make no mistake about it.



Let's conduct ourselves in a matter that would make the Creator Most High God and our strong black ancestors proud. Its time for a peace treaty.

The subject of this entry is one to give protection, security, valuable information, guidance and help to my black sistas, The Queens of Civilization. This message is geared toward "The Black Woman" and HER safety. We are living in a world of lunatics, psychopaths, people who are seriously disturbed and people who "just can't let go". The latter brings me into our subject matter. Sit back, take a deep breath, relax and read some information that could save your life and protect you & yours along with arming yourself with what you will need if and when the day comes where you may have to "defend" yourself. Please read all about the terrible, scary, life-altering "CRIME" that has become known as: "STALKING" Listen to this Black Woman~ According to a survey done by The National Violence Against Women and jointly sponsored by The National Institute of Justice and The Center for Disease Control and Prevention, found that stalking was far more widespread than previously believed. According to the survey: One out of every 12 women (8,200,000) and one out of every 45 men (2,000,000) in the United States have been stalked at some time in their lives. It is estimated that every year in the United States, 1,006,970 women and 370,990 men are stalked. Ninety percent of stalking victims were stalked by just one person each during their lives. Nine percent of female victims and 8 percent of male victims were stalked by 2 different people, and 1 percent of female victims and 2 percents of male victims were stalked by 3 different people. The majority of stalking victims (74 percent) are between 18 and 39 years old. In a 1-year period, women are 3 times more likely to be stalked than raped, but they are 2 times more likely to be physically assaulted than stalked. 83 percent of the stalkers identified by their victims were male. Only 23 percent of female stalking victims and 36 percent of male victims were stalked by strangers. 38 percent of female stalking victims were stalked by current or former husbands, 10 percent by current or former cohabiting partners, and 14 percent by current or former dates or boyfriends. (The results of this survey were done in 1998 and can be found at: www.crime.about.crime/od/stalking/a/stalking_facts.htm) "STALKING CAN ESCALATE INTO VIOLENCE" Stalking refers to repeated harassing or threatening behavior by an individual, such as following a person, appearing at a person's home or place of business, making harassing phone calls, leaving written messages or objects, or vandalizing a person's property, according to the U.S Department of Justice Office of Crime (OVC). Any unwanted contact between two people that directly or indirectly comminicates a threat or place the victim in fear can be considered stalking, but the actual legal definition of stalking varies from states to states according to each states' laws. According to the OVC's brochure "Stalking Victimization" anyone can be a stalker, just as anyone can be a stalking victim. The brochure points out: Stalking is a crime that can touch anyone, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, geographic location, or personal associations. Most stalkers are young to middle-aged men with above-average intelligence. Unfortunately, there is no single psychological or behavioral profile for stalkers. Every stalker is different. This makes it virtually impossible to devise a single effective strategy that can be applied to every situation. It is vital that stalking victims immediately seek the advice of local victim specialists who can work with them to devise a safety plan for their unique situation and circumstances. Some stalkers develop an obssession for another person with whom they have no personal relationship. When the victim does not respond as the stalker hopes, the stalker may attempt to force the victim to comply by use of threats and intimidation. When threats and imtimidation fail, some stalkers turn to violence. "STALKING CAN BECOME VIOLENT" The most prevalent type of stalking case involve some previous personal or romantic relationship between the stalker and the victim. This includes domestic violence cases and relationships in which there is no history of violence. In these cases, stalkers try to control every aspect of their victims' lives. The victim becomes the stalkers's source of self-esteem, and the loss of the relationship becomes the stalker's greatest fear. This dynamic makes a stalker dangerous. Stalking cases that emerge from domestic violence situations, however, are the most lethal type of stalking. The stalker may attempt to renew the relationship by sending flowers, gifts, and love letters. When the victim spurns these unwelcome advances, the stalker often turns to intimidation. Attempts at intimidation typically begin in the form of an unjustified and inappropriate intrusion into the victims life. The intrusions become more frequent over time. This harassing behavior often escalates to direct or indirect threats. Unfortunately, cases that reach this level of seriousness often end in violence. This Black Fist report statistically ends here. A FEW WORDS FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR: "ANY BLACK WOMAN CAN BE STALKED" Black woman, You can be stalked by any black man at any time. And in some rare bizarre cases a black woman can be stalked by "another Black woman". It's a sad commentary but true. There are some mentally disturbed Black women in this world who will stalk and terrorize another Black woman for various reasons like in the commission of identity theft, jealousy, envy & low self-esteem. These mentally off-balanced black women will try and assume bits & pieces of your life to re-create or in most cases "BUILD" a life for themselves. They simply have no life of their own so they try to interject themselves into your life -OR- Be that as it may these mentally sick stalkers try to take take your life! What I mean by "take", is assume your personal and/or professional life. Whatever that may be. Some Black women who stalk other Black women (if mentally deranged enough) will literally try to take your life, as in "KILL YOU"! Be careful Black woman because this is 2005 going into 2006 . And in this day & time we as, black women have to deal with not only the black man who can't "let go" of whatever we had [romantically] with them but the Black woman who can't "let go" of their personal obssessions of you and what you have, as well. There are all types of stalking out here, here's just a few: Cyberstalking Menacing by Stalking Menacing Aggravating menacing Telecommunication Stalking (harassing by email, website & etc.) Using telephone, radio, TV and other types of outlets such as these to stalk their victims, if given that type of access (which also falls under "Telecomminucation Stalking") Brainwashing those with similiar weak minds to assist the stalker with their henious plans against the victim. ("Complicity" which is a also a crime) ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE "CRIMES" IN A COURT OF THE LAW WITHIN THESE UNITED STATES. SO BLACK WOMAN DO NOT BE AFRAID TO CALL THE AUTHORITIES YOU PAY TAXES TO EVERYDAY, YOUR LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT, IF YOU FEEL AS IF YOU, BLACK WOMAN ARE BEING STALKED. SUMMER SAFETY IN THE 'HOOD

As Head of Security for The Black Fist Organization, I want to take a moment to remind everyone that as we are now in the middle of a hot humid summer season, we as adults must keep a watchful eye out for our elderly and our children.


Our elders and our children are the most precious resources we have. In this hot weather, check on your elderly relatives and neighbors to see if they have working fans and/or air conditioning systems. Make sure you visit them on a regular basis. And it doesn't hurt to suggest they drink adequent amounts of water/fluids as this hot weather can quickly dehydrate them without them even knowing it. Our elderly can become extremely vulnerable in this blazing summer heat.

We often hear in the news how our children left unsupervised can fall out of unlocked windows. Please check to make sure ALL windows, balconies and window screens are properly secured and in tip top condition. Little bodies can literally "slip through the cracks" and fall to their deaths! Children love to swim & play in and around the pools, so please remember to watch your children carefully as it only takes seconds for an unsupervised child to drown!
Children left unsupervised can drown instantly in undrained and/or unsecured swimming pools. There should always be an adult who is trained in CPR in and around the pool where children are swimming. And NEVER EVER should children swim alone!
Life-jackets should be worn on our littlest swimmers and/or those children who are not so experienced at swimming. First aid kits should also be kept close by, seeing as though slippery surfaces can cause children to fall and hurt themselves.

Children should NEVER be left ALONE in cars during this hot season. Even left alone for 10-15 mins. in tempertures soaring upwards in the 80's, 90's & with a heat index that can make it sometimes feel like it's "100 degrees & above", even with the windows cracked can cause little ones to become "overheated" which can cause "INSTANT FATALITIES".
NEVER leave a child alone in a car. PERIOD. But especially don't leave them alone when this hot weather can take their little lives in a heartbeat.

Please remember these safety tips and in cases of any emergencies call 911 IMMEDIATELY.

In times gone by, our elders loved us and cared for us when we were too young to care for ourselves. They sacrificied for us, they broke their backs to put a roof over our heads, food on our tables, clothes on our backs and "disciplined" us when we needed it. Let's MAKE THE TIME to give back that same caring protective spirit to them during this hot summer season and ALL year 'round. We must "Respect and Protect" our Elders.
Our children look to us and DEPEND upon us to keep them protected, healthy, and whole. They deserve to have a fun-filled "SAFE" summer. It is our job to make sure that happens.

"The Black Man & The Black Woman" must work together in "our communities" to watch out & look out for our own.

Make Safety #1 and remember "It's all good when Black folks have Safety in The 'Hood"!
